Tian Zi Fang

Thinking back to all the places I'd visited in Shanghai, my all time favourite place to go would have to be Tian Zi Fang. The other tourist attractions pale in comparison. Before I went on this trip, my sister and Rifdi kept telling me that I would definitely love Tian Zi Fang. I had no idea why back then but now I know.

To sum the place up, Tian Zi Fang is basically an artistic district. I don't mean that the whole street is full of paintings and performances but the whole layout and decorations definitely take you to somewhere different. I know I didn't feel like I was in Shanghai for starters. There are a lot of shops there so it's like a shopping district as well. All the restaurants and cafes there are seriously adorable. I rmb walking pass a teddy bear cafe and the whole place was decorated with teddy bears. I just wish we had more time to explore the place. If I'm gng back to Shanghai, I'd definitely spend a day there.

Tian Zi Fang is conveniently located right outside the MRT station called Dapuqiao. We took a MRT to the place actually and it took us about 1 min to walk to Tian Zi Fang.

Other than getting Starbucks (which group 1 is famous for haha), we also tried some fried potato. We bought 1 to share actually. We weren't really hungry but everyone seemed to be getting it so we decided to hop on the bandwagon and join them as well :D It was quite tasty actually and thinking about it makes me hungry. Excuse me while I go search my kitchen for food hahaha.

Well talking back to my favourite topic, shopping, I did manage to do a little shopping there! In fact, Tian Zi Fang is the first place that kicked start my shopping in Shanghai haha! Due to the fact that we were visiting schools and musuems the first 3 days, I didn't really shop. Not till I went to Tian Zi Fang on the fourth day that is. You can expect shops selling food, souveniers, shoes, caps, beanies, paintings etc. I bought a fedora, a beanie and some snacks there.

I got this beanie and it actually kept me warm on the fifth day(when it was 0 degrees) (: Quite a good buy actually. Can't rmb how much it was but it was definitely cheaper than buying beanies in Singapore.

Anw, here's satisfied us with our shopping :D
